Easy to make This banana pudding is not only high in protein but also super easy and quick to make. In only 15 minutes you have your most rich and creamy dessert ready to indulge in. Blend all ingredients for up to 10 seconds in a high-speed blender and thicken the mixture over the heat to get the pudding consistency.
4 ingredients only High protein recipes do not have to be complicated. This high protein banana pudding is made with just 4 simple ingredients – banana, milk, whey protein powder, and cornstarch.

Ingredients and substitutes

Whey protein powder I typically use vanilla-flavored protein, which goes nicely with banana, but if you prefer a different taste combination, feel free to substitute. If using unflavored protein powder add 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.
Banana The more ripe banana, the sweeter the pudding will naturally be. I like to use a semi-ripe banana.
Milk I make this recipe with dairy, but plant-based milk should work just fine.
Cornstarch Thickening agent. Gives the pudding a gelly puddingy texture. I have not tried this recipe with other kinds of starches as corn starch is commonly used also in store-bought puddings.
Sweetener (Optional) If you feel like the sweetness from the banana and protein is not sufficient, feel free to add 1/2-1 tbsp of granulated or liquid sweetener.
